The audits have been developed in conjunction with Harland's recently enhanced machine hire service to help customers save money and reduce expenditure, something all business are looking to do in the current credit crunch. Harland has designed their Hire Service to help customers in the Contract Packing sector deal with the erratic nature of the market. Machines can be hired to deal with contract over-runs, short-term runs and trial runs of a new product. Alternatively a modification service has also been created to enhance existing machines, helping customers save unnecessary expense purchasing new ones.
