APPLICATIONS DEVELOPMENT / PROJECT ENGINEER

The purpose of the role is to set up, test, ongoing development and installation of new equipment on customer premises overseas. The individual will be self motivated, qualified to HND level in engineering, experience of project management, preferably within a similar environment. Handling a number of projects simultaneously you will ensure that each project meets key objectives. Good communication skills and an ability to motivate a multi-disciplined team is required.

The role will be based in Salford but will require travel and working away from home for reasonable periods of time. Ideally a minimum of 2 years in an engineering role with electro / mechanical machinery.

MECHANICAL DESIGN ENGINEER
(Permanent)

The role will involve using Solidworks (predominantly) and Autocad to create innovative mechanical designs ensuring that the design of components permits efficient, cost effective manufacturer and procurement. The individual must be enthusiastic, self motivated, work as part of a team and hold a mechanical design / engineering qualification to HNC / HND standard. A basic understanding of electrical control systems would be advantageous. Due to the nature of the business where tight timescales are on occasion required, the individual must have the ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure with minimal supervision.
